SCHOOL SAFETY PROCEDURES

1.   FIRE ALERT - ALL will exit buildings to designated areas. 

2.  DISASTER ALERT - Tornados, high winds, etc. all will proceed to designated areas INSIDE the school. Parents will come and sign their child out as soon as conditions are safe. 

3.  EVACUATION ALERT - in case of a train derailment or truck accident near our school involving dangerous materials that will require evacuation of the school, ALL will proceed to Eisenhauer Road Baptist Church Hall. (3950 Eisenhauer Road, at the intersection of Harlow and Eisenhauer) Parents will go there to pick up their children. 

4.  CHEMICAL/BIOLOGICAL ALERT - All buildings will be secured and ventilation systems turned off. All entry doors will be locked and taped off. As the primary goal is to keep all contaminated individuals out of the building, no entries will be permitted until our site is given the "All Clear" by the San Antonio Emergency Management Office. Not until that time, will any individual be allowed inside the school. The school will provide the necessary emergency supplies needed for each room. Please make sure that the school has your up-to-date home, office, and cell phone numbers. 

For Emergency Information, please tune to Channel 12 (non-cable) and Radio channels: 550AM -KTSA & 1200AM - WOAI 

During these alerts, our phone lines must be available for outgoing calls, please do not call the school
